I had an accident on the 28.04.13. I have to date not received feedback despite numerous attempts via sms & phone calls. Allie Govender the manager of the claims department in Kzn had a bad attitude when i called him & he refused to extend my courtesy vehicle which i only had for a month. I have been left without transport and that has crippled me. Bearing in mind the reason for the delay is because they are waiting for a report from the investigator. Who's fault is that? Does it take 2 months to write a report? Why does MUTUAL & FEDERAL OFFER YOU 30, 60 & 90 days car hire? Why is the service so bad? These are some of the questions you need to ask yourself before you take out a policy with them! In fact, i don't advise anyone to take out short-term insurance with them. I have really been patient with them and it is absolutely unprofessional for a reputable company like MUTUAL & FEDERAL to deal with its clients in this manner. Extremely unsatisfied client!
