The Standard Bank branch operates on a Sunday but they do not allow for bank deposits. "How unprofessional and incompitent is this"...

i rushed to East Gate this morning knowing that Standard Bank is open, i had to do an urgent deposit as my cellphone banking and my internet banking was not working because of the new card. i had cash on me and had to deposit to somebody strunded in Bloemfontein urgently.

this is when i was told that the bank does not take any deposits on a sunday then WHY THE ARE YOU OPEN IF YOU CANT HELP WITH A SIMPLE DEPOSIT...?

I couldn't even use the ATM because i am depositing to a Trust Fund (how stupid is this) if you are making a deposit to a Standard Bank account, it doesn't matter if its a Check, savings, business or trust account... it should still allow you to make a deposit.

I WILL BE MOVING MY ACCOUNT AND MY BUSINESS ACCOUNT TO FNB... this is why Standard bank will always lose high potentioal and valuable clients all the time because of this stupid issues.. they are also now hidding deposit slips to force people to use the ATM's (STUPID)
