INCOMPETENT BANKING STAFF

I received an sms from FNB on 26/06/13 stating that my Visa Electron card would expire at the end of the following month (July) and would I please bring my id book together with proof of residence to collect my new card. I could go to any branch to collect my card. I duly went today (Friday) to Woodmead Retail Park branch and when I handed over my id I was told there was no card for me for collection. I then looked at my card and saw that the expiry date was in fact 11/14 - November 2014!! So I had wasted my time standing in the bank queue for nothing!

Nice one FNB!

WHEN are banks actually going to give customers prompt, efficient service without milking your accounts for bank charges etc and then providing this type of service without the slightest thought that you, the customer actually contribute largely to them being lucky enough to have a job?

Pathetic!
