I apparently have an account from 21 years ago which had been written off. In order to clear this record i must pay an amount of 1237.00. This was paid almost two weeks ago but to date does not reflect. I have since logged calls about the payment, but the calls get closed without any action. I have taken proof of payment to the branch but this did not help. This morning i was referred to the AB ombudsman but after 10 minutes on hold i put down. i am holding now for the consumer affairs department for a period of another 10 minutes. I am now putting the phone down and am forced to write this complaint to get some action. This is a really poor showing
