I have recently received my credit report and have seen that FNB has blacklisted me with an account that is "PRESCRIBED" and have written that i last paid on the account on the 16 September 2011 of which that is false no payment was made by me on that account on the above mentioned date. As far as i'm concerned the last payment was made prior June 2010 meaning that the account is old and needs to be written off. If FNB claim that i made that payment two things need to happen 1. They need to prove that i made that payment by providing me with the proof of payment if it was a manual payment or bank statement where payment was effected and the account number it was debited from.
2. The amount that was paid and the recording / document where i agreed such a payment my be effected on the account.
I Urge that your records be updated on the matter as i never made such a payment as this matter prevents the account from being prescribed and has jepordised my application with a new employer, i request feedback on the matter within 2 working days or i will seek legal action and refer the matter to the Ombudsman
