BAD SERVICE - cant get a cancellation lette

On 14 May I requested a settlement amount on my Furniture City account. The same day I settled the outstanding amount of R1964.84. I paid the money via EFT from FNB into the preloaded Furniture City account details on FNB - account number 6226 4744 783. I have been using this account details from January 2011 and has never had a problem before with payment allocations. I have at least 6 proof of payments that was previously done using the exact same banking details.

2 and a 1/2 weeks, various faxes and 30 phone calls later my payment is still not allocated and I still haven't received a confirmation letter that my account is paid up and closed.

Every time I contact African Bank there is a different story. CAN ANYBODY AT AFRICAN BANK PLEASE HELP ME TO ALLOCATE MY PAYMENT TO MY ACCOUNT, CLOSE THE ACCOUNT AND SEND ME A CANCELLATION LETTER? PLEASE.
