I was involved in an accident on the 29th of April and was insured with Anderson. Firstly, after towing my car they gave me the first shock of that i was not covered to get a courtesy vehicle which would have cost me R65 extra every month. This surprised me because when they called me to offer me their insurance after purchasing my car they told me I was covered and had a full cover. I would have never refused such an option especially knowing that my job entitles me to travel a lot and i need to drive my kids to school every morning and I had such a cover with my previous insurance.
I went on to rent a car from my pocket. Next problem they misquoted me and then changed the quote after a few days after I had paid the amount. Because I urgently wanted my car I paid the extra excess Even though I wasn't happy about it but i knew all odds where against me.
Now 3 months later, i called the panel beaters in auto atlantic cape town who repaired my vehicle and Jaco says they have completed the repairs but the insurance is refusing to pay therefore they cannot give me my car. Please help as I need my car on the 17th of July. I am currently overseas and would like my car when I return
