My salary was paid into my account twice, due to the bank having an error that day. Two days later, the money was tracked and the bank got the money back. A month later, Absa told this bank to put the money back into my account!! This was not discussed with me nor did I receive any sms notification alerting me of this activity. Why did Absa make such a stupid decision on my behalf without even consulting me first?? It's MY account at the end of the day; and who gave Absa the authority to say what may and may not go into and out of your account!! I have been getting calls till today from the bank regarding this problem. Now I have to pay that extra money back to the bank. I'm sure Absa will now take a step back and let "nature it's course" after putting me in this situation in the first place!!!!
