I had taken a loan with Standard bank and due to unforseen circumstances, i was unablee to make payment and it was referred to their collection department.

in 2011 I started making monthly payments.

last year my account was referred to their attorneys to collect. i made payments to the bank details given and still have proof of all payments made.

a month ago, i received a call from Standard bank, advising that the account was back with them to collect directly. they advised that they have not received any payment since 2011.

i sent all proof of payment to [Email Removed] and also referred the matter to Standard bank complaints.

till this day, the matter is not resolved and i am expected to carry on with payment, not knowing at all how much is outstanding and not having confirmation of all my payments.

This enquiry has gone on for way too long. i have made numerous calls between Standard bank and their attorneys, trying to get clarity and still no joy on my side.
