Leaving a teenager stuck in Europe with no money!

Our teenage daughter is on a school tour in Europe. I got a frantic message today that her card is not working - when I checked her bank account, she had money "in reserve". Upon enquiry from Bidvest, I was told that she should have been more careful with her cards, because it seems that they may have been cloned. HOW DO YOU STOP A CARD FROM BEING CLONED? I asked. The response was that you cannot. So - how do we deal with the problem? We have to fill out a form - then wait 45 working days for the investigation. SERIOUSLY? Our child is far away from home - with no money for food. How do we solve this problemnow? Stop the cards. Okay? Then what? She still has no money! Please can we talk to your supervisor, Jacqui Gibb - we were told. No - that is out of the question. And then the line went dead. Bidvest, your service is to say the least, non-existing. You have no idea how to deal with customers, and your call centre staff are clueless. We will try and find another way to get money to our daughter - but NEVER again will we trust in your bank. It is scary. We entrusted you with our child and you simply don't care.
