We arrived in Beijing on holiday on the 15th and used Bidvest card for our currency. As arriving at the hotel at 11pm at night we were tired and wanted to rest. They asked for a 5000 yun as dep. that comes to around R8000. So we used the Bidvest card. Went through no problem. The next morning we checked out and they took of the night stay. Went to the next hotel and they asked for a 5000 yun again. We tried paying but the card did not work as that the previous refund of the hotel did not reflect yet. So we used our spending. Today is the 19th and still no refund. After numerous emails and requests from Budvest like they want the hotel to send proof on a letter head, still nothing. There excuse is they can't read the amount on the letter head so I have to wait. I have my 6 year daughter and my son with me and we don't have any funds for food or how to get to the airport on Thurday. Bidvest doesn't care that your family is hungry or what happens to there clients abroad. Can't get back to SA!!
