I put in a lumpsum of money into Hollard a few years ago. Last year I made a withdrawal from this investment. I am now in a dire financial position, I am about to lose everything that I have worked hard for and I am unable to get a loan because of the financial position I am in.
The thing that makes me angry is that I have money which I put into Hollard to help me through such situations and now they are telling me to go to a financial advisor. What is a financial advisor going to do, offer me a loan?? Well, at the moment that is not possible. If only I had known that I would not be able to have access to my own money, then I would not have even opened up this investment account.
I am very disappointed with Hollard. And I would seriously advise anyone who wants to open an investment with them to think twice before doing so.
