Surrendering a 5yr investment

Hi

Four years back my husband passed on and as i didnt want to take drastic decisions i decided to invest the money with Hollard Investments via FNB. I was not informed that in order for me to cancel the policy i should wait for 5 years.

I later on bought a new house which needed some renovations and i withdraw some money on the investment. Due to the cost of living being too much and having two children without a father, i got myself into debts of which the companies are summonsing and want their money. The only option i have is to cancel my investment and pay up the companies.

I spoke to Zainub from Hollard Investments and explained my situation and she said to me that i cant surrender this policy as i have already withdrawn from it. I explained my predicament and asked if they cant charge me penaltied for early withdrawal of which she refused.

Please help as this is really a big issue that makes me not to even sleep at night and if this cant be sourted my kids wont have a home to go to. I am really desparate as a i have exosted ways of coming out of this situation.
