I paid my car off last month and MFC still debited my account-I called the call centre (after holding for what felt like the whole day) and was told to go and reverse the debit order at my bank as it would take up to two weeks if they have to reverse it on their side, I obviously chose to reverse it at my bank as I have strict budgets and could not afford to wait for the refund. I went and reversed my debit order after standing in the bank for atleast an hour and a half (with my baby as I was on maternity leave). This month they have debited my account again. Obviously the call centre agent did not make sure that the debit was cancelled from my account on MFC`s side. I cannot afford to go and stand in the bank to reverse the debit order again as I am back at work and cannot take time off to fix MFC`s mistake again. I also cannot wait 2 weeks for a refund as the money debited is my grocery money and thanks to the incompetence of MFC my family needs to go hungry.
