CANNOT REVERSE DEBIT ORDER

I went to the bank to cancel debit orders on my account a month ago due to going under debt review.
This couldn't be done.the creditor was informed and given 5 days to cancel debit order which they did not do.
On the 17-05-13, this creditor debited my account. I requested at the bank if they can reverse payments, and they said I must bring in proof I am under debt review. I did so today with my 17.1 form from the debt review company.
The bank then said that according to their system my status is normal and I'm not under debt review, they cannot reverse the payments.the document is apparently not proof.capitec says I need a court order. I want answers and I want this money reversed.that was not spare money in our pockets that was debited.
