My 1st bank account was with SBSA. So was the financing for my 1st car. So I got my home loan there as well. 7 years ago I lost my job. I notified them about it to make use of my 6 month grace period. For the next 3 months I used my overdraft to survive. I got a job and with a shock I found out the end of the month when my salary went in that they JUST CANCELLED my overdraft - I had no money available. A week later the sheriff of the court arrived to repossess my house - they never applied my 6 month grace period. All the legal costs were added to my bond in order for me to keep the house. It got so bad that handed myself over for debt review. 6 months later I had to deal with lawyers again - they did not have the decency to inform me or the company that they rejected the debt review. My bond was then extended to 30 years in order for me to keep it. Now that I am done with debt review I had to find out from another bank that I am a credit risk because Home Loans never changed my payment date and every month's payment shows as a late payment. To call them is like speaking to a grade 1 that just pass you on to someone else. Emails are not much better. I don't know what to do any more
