Ive been under debt review since 2011 and been on maternity in May 2012, however I could not pay my bond and my other accounts I have at Ned bank. My debt counsellour explained to Ned bank that I am not getting my full salary and also my husband lost his job. When I cam back from Maternity in September 2012, in December I started just getting summonses for all my accounts I have with Ned bank. They don't even call me first or ask what the problem was. They just go ahead and hand you over they have no decency to call you and see where they can help, they are not very lenient and don't want to help people in need. I have never been in this predicament before, I have always paid all my accounts up to date but now that this happened me going on maternity and my husband loosing his job they just handed me over all the accounts I have with Ned bank and my husband. My bond was behind with a sum of R14, 800 which i paid finish and are up to date now but with the other accounts they just handed us over and just have the sheriff at my house all the time. This is really not fair I have been a good client all my life If you look into our history you will see that this is our second house.
