Impossible to get feedback

I asked for old bank statements the first time 2 weeks ago when I phoned the call-centre. The person there told me they cannot provide these statements and that I must visit my branch because they are the only ones with access to old bank statements.
On 28 June 2013 I went to the Blue Route Mall. At the Inquiries counter I was told that I must log my request with Head Office because they are the only ones who can give me the statements. I got a bit upset and the guy at the Inquiries counter logged the request on my behalf. He said that I will have to wait 2 business days.
Well, today is the 3rd of July. I have not received a thing! I sent another email yesterday and was told that the query was escalated and that I will get a response in 2 working days.
HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE???
