I requested that my Bond Debit order be cancelled, so that i could do manual payments as I did with Absa for two years. But i got a snotty phone call from a lady in the home loans department at Standard Bank this morning, telling my request to cancel my debit order has been declined by her Manager. No reason nothing, just a simple breach of contract.
I am very disappointed as I thought I would get better service from Standard Bank, as this was the reason for changing from Absa in the first place.
But I think if this matter isnt sorted out urgently i will definitely be changing banks.
