Incompetence at its peak!

I changed backs in June and swapped all my debit orders to my new ban account by the 6th of June 2013. I recieved confirmation that all my details we updated on the my Discovery Invest profile. Come the 26th of June 2013, the debit order for my Invest policy runs from my old account which does not have funds. This means, my old bank charged me R115 for irrevocable debit order. I immediately call the call centre and speak to Selbourne. He insists that my new account details was charged even though i have proof that this is not the case. He claimed that he would escalate this and revert within 24-48 hours. Its been a WEEK and none of the arrogant Discovery Invest workers have provided me with feedback. Now i have a dent on my Credit Record for a mistake I didnt cause. Today Discovery Invest sends me a letter to tell me "we could not get your monthly contributions, please make payment". What caliber of people are hired at Discovery? Please ensure that my Credit record is clean (i continuously check) and then please send a senior person to contact me with my initial query! I'm so glad i cancelled my Medical Aid two months ago... guess what's next on the list?
