Discovery Insure
Cancelled policy

Hi,

I considered taking up a policy with Discovery Insure. Upon further investigation it would have been more expensive for me to move from my current insurer-Outsurance as the premium is almost R700 more.

I then contacted Cobus back as he was the person who initiated the policy for me in May so it can be deducted in July. I asked him to please cancel the policy. After a few back and forth emails I was pretty clear that I didnt want to take the cover with Discovery.

Yesterday my account was debited sending it overdrawn. I now have a charge of R90 which I expect Discovery to pay me back.

Please advise how you can debit an account without authorisation? If this is the company values I will also cancel my life policy etc with Discovery.
