Completed an online quotation Fri, 5th June for my mother, filled in all the insurance questions, Successfully submitted. No quote received after all the trouble of answering their questions (why can't they just put it on screen?). The following week, tried the entire process again - still no quote arrives. Finally by 11 June: I send Santam Enquiries an email, asking if their systems are working - No surprises here, No response. Followed up again on the 20th June and got response from a consultant named Sheldon, asking for my quote nr (I didnt get one). On 21st June, got reply from Timothy asking me to send him all the details, he'll process urgently. I send the details I think he's asking for on 24th June. I wait, I hear nothing, ... until finally I gave up and sent a mail 30 June, to say don't bother anymore. If your online tools aren't working - fix them. If you advertise an enquiries email, make sure your staff replies within 24 hours and if your consultant/s make promises, make sure they keep them or at very least delegate to someone who can be relied to fulfill them.. Its not rocket science, its common sense and decency.
