On the 21/06/2013 at /- 06H45 I was involved a bumper bashing where I was rear ended by another vehicle after it had been hit by a taxi. I lodged a claim with First For Women and dealt with an agent named Nisha. First For Women now want increase my premium by R200 because I apparently informed them that I had insurance for more than 7 years upon application for insurance with them. I have requested them to provide me with a recording which they now unable to provide, but all calls are recorded for quality and legal purposes apparently. I have also requested for them to provide me with car hire which my policy makes provision for but I have been told that I need to pay R1000 for the car as well as R150 for delivery and ironically this rule came in exactly a day before I requested for car hire. The agent dealing with my claim has dealt with me very unprofessionally and has no regard how she speaks to clients. I am very unpleasant about this whole incident as this is my first claim since taking insurance with them. At the rate things are going I will be forced to take this up with the Ombudsman as they have accepted my premium and cant provide me with a service I pay for.
