Cancellation of short term policy

Phoned Mi Way to cancel my policy on the 10/5/2013. After that conversation had about 7 calls to Miway. The last conversation was with a senior two ladies namely Queen and Sherline. Sherline negoitiated a new premium and was very professional and promised to send me an updated policy per e-mail for me te make sure and decide wether I want to cancell. Up today received no updated policy. Made a call on the 25/6 spoke to Sherilene and asked her to cancell my policy and send me confirmation that the last deductions will be the 27/6 for the amount of R870 and I will have coverage up to the 26/7. No phone call or email and Miway deducted the new premium that Sherline worked out of R949.47. When I spoke the her on the 25/6 I confirmed that the premium that will be deducted is R870.00. If one battles so much to cancell a policy I wonder how would it be if one will have a claim. I insist on a call from a senior to explain why this happened. I will also take this matter to the as many newspaper as I can.
