I have been a loyal customer of Dial Direct Insurance for the past 6 years. Not once have I claimed from them nor missed a payment on this policy. During the past week my car was involved in an accident and while the process was professional and friendly, I was taken aback by the exorbitant excess they intend to charge me of R11 000! I could understand this if i had taken out a small policy where the monthly premiums were low, however my monthly premium is approximately R1 800 Even though I drive a Suzuki Swift. This is highway in its purist form! All the people I have spoken to about this share my absolute disgust of the situation, and I feel it is only fair I warn other consumers of the unscrupulous manner in which they conduct their business! I am saddened by this situation, as I have always held Dial Direct in high esteem, but apparently I was terribly mistaken.
