I am very frustrated at this moment with ABSA, about 3 months ago they stopped my account, i had to FICA, i then went in to the ABSA branch in the Atterbury Checkers Centre, I stood there for almost an hour while they loaded my FICA and asked questions in order to update my profile. Now after just being there a couple of months ago, yesterday I go onto my account to try and pay my accounts just to see that nothing wants to go through, eventually I saw the error that ABSA gave me in the old internet system (it did not come up even in the new one) I then proceeded to phone them to enquire as to why i am getting an error, they informed to phone a different number, that number doesn't even belong to an absa, i phoned a different absa number just to be cut of by the lady that answered the phone, i then proceeded to phone the absa at mall at reds close to where i live. Sylvia tried her best to sort this out for me but could not get through to the dept that deals with the ABSA fica. I phoned the branch where i did my FICA only to be told they would phone me back, I am still waiting since yesterday for SOMEONE to phone me back. Pathetic service from ABSA. this happened to my friends also
