Wesbank's Refusal to help

On Friday, 22 June I went to Wesbank's Head Office on Beyers Naude Drive. I went there to ask them to help me. Just over a year ago my husband passed away in a car accident. I had to downgrade to a smaller car. At the moment, I appear to be having some financial problems and have fallen behind on repayments by 1.5 months. I went there asking, begging and pleading for help. I can't believe that the agent who assisted me (or should I say didn't assist me) was so blatant in telling me "NO. That's not how they do business" Its not that I don't want to pay, I do but I just want a temporary reduction in my installments until I get on my feet again. I will never recommend WESBANK to anyone who might have the misfortune to end up in the same situation as me. I even asked her to help me find a solution and she flat out refused. "Pay the outstanding and we'll see" that's what she told me. How can a company as BIG as Wesbank being one of the largest credit installment institutions not even want to help their own clients. I am sick to my stomach, that in a couple of months time I probably won't even be able to take my two small kids to school because I won't have a car.
