AFTER AN ACCIDENT 11 YEARS AGO, MY CAR WAS WRITTEN OF AND I SETTLED WITH WESBANK.
I RECEIVED A LETTER CONFIRMING THE SETTLEMENT AND WENT ON TO BUY ANOTHER CAR THROUGH WESBANK. NOW 10 YEARS LATER, WESBANK WONT UPGRADE MY CREDIT PROFILE BECAUSE THE ACCOUNT, ACCORDING TO THEM, HAS AN OUTSTANDING AMOUNT OF R16000. NOBODY EVER CONTACTED ME IN CONNECTION WITH THIS, I HAVE SPOKEN TO A ZELDA JOHNSON, HANNELIE DU PLESSIS OF CREDIT, BUT THEY JUST REFER ME TO A CHERYL WHEELER.
HOW CAN WE WITH CREDIT LAWS IN SOUTH AFRICA, STIL BE PENALIZED FOR A TEN YEAR OLD DEBT BY A COMPANY THAT SEND ME A LETTER TO SAY IT WAS SETTLED. THIS IS ABSOLUTE RUBBISH AND PATHETIC FOR A COMPANY OF THIS SIZE. ISNT ANYBODY STILL DOING THERE JOB OUT THERE BECAUSE WESBANK/FNB MUST CHANGE THERE LOGO BECAUSE IT IS A JOKE. I WILL LAY A COMPLAINT AT THE OMBUDSMAN OF BANKING.!!!
