It is annoying and disappointing to see a big company not honoring its word. Here is what happened:
According to Outsurance's adverts, if they can't offer you a better qoute then they will pay you R400. Approximately, 3 weeks ago I received a call (I didn't call, they did) from Outsurance offering me car insurance better than my current one. I went through the process with the agent but in the end, their qoute was double what I was paying and so I wanted to claim the amount as per ad. The agent told me that he will refer the matter to his manager and I will be called to complete my claim.
I am still waiting til today and that begs a question, why promise knowing you are not going to honor it?
