Bank had a systems crash apparently in January 2013. When i wanted to pay my debtors/salaries and overseas
suppliers, i realise that my overdraft has been taken away. Nobody at standard bank has phoned me or contacted me regarding this. I kept on phoning this bank in Alberton, but nobody responded to my call, i had to go there personally to find out what was wrong. Only then i was informed about the systems crash, but also that my scoring has been down grated because of this. After the bank reinstated my overdraft, i found out that i am not longer qualify for the same amount. I had to phone the bank again for answers, when i was told that i have to submit new company financials, and that they would only look at my de-creased overdraft after six months.
I think it is very unfair that i have to be penallised for a mistake that the bank made. It put my company under a great deal of stress, and make it very diffucult for me to keep on trading.
