On Sat I went to Balfour Park branch to close my revolving credit account.
The consultant could not do that because the bank first had to cancel a life protector on that policy which could only be done Monday. The lady by the surname Nkosi assumed me that this would be done first thing Monday morning and I would get a call for confirmation.
Its Wednesday I did not get the call. To add salt to injury Standard bank has gone ahead and debited my account with the debit order that was my initial installment. How are they MOVING ME FORWARD??? Because this is nothing but pathetic customer service. And I demand my money back TODAY??? Was it not good enough that I settled this account in full? And signed that I want this account closed.
