Changes my insurance to A&G a few months ago and unfortunately had to make my first claim this month.
It took a week to have the vehicle assessed at the insurers assessment centre. Then it was sent to the repairer. When it gets to repairer, a number of replacement components not quoted for by asessor.
Finally get authorisation for most of components on about 11 June. Then a series of mess ups by the repairer iro ordering the components - this after almost daily follow ups and meetings with manager.
I lodge complaints with insurer who shows no interest in addressing matter. 3 days after lodging first complaint i get a call with no apology and telling me that my vehicle will only be ready on friday. no questions as to why I am unhappy or what the problem is. No effort to seek the facts or try and expedite the job.
this friday it will be 4 weeks. damage was minor. front right suspension, few trimmings to be replaces and touch up 2 scratches on the body. I estimate that labour hours is not more than 5 hours yet i wait for weeks and my insurer finds it acceptable.
You obviously do not value retention of clients!!
