No Responsibility taken for ATM

Drawing money from a FNB ATM (I am a client of FNB) as I put in my pin the next screen asked me for my telephone number and I pressed cancel to end transaction. The machine did not return my card. I called the lost card number to cancel my card and while on the phone I received a sms that money was withdrawn from my account. After investigation by FNB they said they will not refund me due to it being a pin driven transaction.

As all transactions are pin driven I do not understand - do they take no responsibility for any transaction?
This is a loss to me due to a FNB ATM being hacked and their controls failing to ensure the safety of my money.

I will recommend anyone to become a FNB client and also that existing clients should think of moving their accounts to another bank as FNB do not care or take responsibility if you have lost money due to at one of their ATM's.
