About 4mnths back I was transferring money via cellphone banking and I used an incorrect cell number, i then contacted the I mentioned Capitec bank and I was told that my hard earned R4000.00 has been lost and I can not get it back unless the person whom banks with Capitec answers her cell number 079 172 8257 and agrees to return this money. I now think that someone in the bank is trying to keep this money for themselves as the number now goes on vmail but before it used to ring. But why cant they be like FNB as a similar thing happened to my colleague and she got back her money with 72hours. Capitec always claims to be the best bank but when you have a problem they never help. As soon as I get this sorted out I will close my account with them and also motivate my friends family and colleagues to do the same. This bank does not care about its people it only wants to from the poor and make its self rich I wish I had never banked with them.
