On 3 June I lodged a claim with SBSA insurance, regarding a huge leak in my water pipes.
The plumber took until the 6th to realise there's nothing he can do (due to not showing for 2 days).
On the 7th I am informed (after phoning the bank myself - they don't phone you) that the claim will be paid out as it's more damage than they cover.
i phoned them every day 10th until 14th. On the 14th the lady said "I'm putting in the transfer now, you will have it by Monday". (Monday was a holiday). So today, the 18th already, the money is still not in my account.
When I phoned just now I'm told the payment wasn't approved by the financial people. Oh my word. It's taken 2 weeks now, while my pipes are *still* leaking as I don't have funds to repair it. A whole week of SBSA insurance saying "we're waiting for the report from the plumbers" (is there no way for them to hurry the plumbers up? Perhaps they need new ones). And now *once again* I am promised it will be paid by today. Honestly, would you believe that?
