My husband and I applied for debt counselling on 13 May 2013. 28 May 2013 we sent a Voluntary Withdrawal Application to Lucy since my sister had arranged to take over bond repayments for us for 1 year hence no need for debt counselling and enquired about the fees involved. Lucy qouted 2 fees (30% of the instalment if payable within 2 weeks or 75% of the instalment if not payable within 2 weeks). I was communicating with Lucy Williams. The payment was made on 3 June 2013 and payment confirmation sent to Lucy Williams. I have been sending Lucy emails wanting to get a letter 17.4 to confirm our withdrawal. Fri 14 June we found out that are bank accounts have been frozen due to debt counselling, but we have asked for this to be withdrawn, how is it that the Banks were advised of Debt Counselling. The banks want this letter 17.4 and no one is returning our email requests. Now we got to speak to someone by the name of Cindy who is asking us to give her the Voluntary Withdrawal Application Form as well as the confirmation of payment. Why? We already submitted all this end of May. We paid the 30% fee in time. I need this to be sorted ASAP, I have a family to support financially.
