LOST INSURANCE POLICY

On 6 September 1966 my husband bought an insurance policy from AVBOB, the amount was R2000.00,
The policy should pay out when he dies

He passed away on the 2nd of December 2010

I found the original policy among his documents. I faxed it to AVBOB several times, they contacted me by telephone and said they are searching for the policy.

I want to know what happened to this policy
