Going the Extra Mile

I had a problem with my internet banking login & I went to my local Nedbank branch as I had a couple of payments which needed to be made today. While waiting in the queue at Enquiries, I was approached by a staff member to enquire why I was there. I briefly explained & the woman immediately said that she would try help. I was to find out later that she was the Branch Manager, Karuna Roopchund. She asked me for more information about my problem & then said she wanted to see what she could do further. I was then taken to Riona Rajkumar's Office [one of the personal bankers]. Riona then went well beyond the normal service in sorting out the problem as a number of hitches were encountered in solving the problem. She gave of her time & expertise for close to a full hour so as to solve the problem. What made it even more commendable was that she had a case of severe laryngitis, making it difficult for her to speak. My rating - Attitude 10/10, Service - 10/10, Perserverance - 10/10
