I get a call from Nedbank personal loans who asked me fi I needed a Personal Loan. I said yes I do. After doing all the checks with my ID etc I was advised I qualified and must go into bank to apply. I went into the bank and they did their itc checks and affordability and once again I was advised it looksgood. I filled out forms and it was sent to the back office. Two hours later I am advised that the loan declined ..and I cannot even contest the decision. Why did nedbank even call me? Why was I not told at the initial stages I did not qualify? I have been banking with nedbank for 14 years and they have never been there for me as a client. I am sure if I apply at the 3 major banks I will be accepted .. I will do that and provide feedback on this forum...
