I bought an ipad from FNB in November 2011, the qualifying criteria for me to get the device was to have an FNB CHEQUE account which I have been using to purchase from ITUNES & IStore
Which for me I thought it was a good deal hence I bought into it,
Last week I tried buying something from istore & the gadget wouldn't let me, I called Istore & was told I need to have a credit card which came to me as a shock because I have been using my check card all this time.
I called FNB to verify if this info, that I need a credit card to use the device they sold to me to use it to its full potential, I spoke to Katlego I think from general enquiries who referred me to sales & got to speak to Dimakatso. Both of them have got no clue if the information is true or not.
This is a breach of contract on my side & I want answers, the bank sells me a device which I use for 1 year six months & all of a sudden I need a credit card??? Chances are the very same bank is going to give me the credit card.
The joint venture between Apple & FNB is to get people to take up credit cards or what.
