I dont understand

Hello

I am truly confused about how FNB does its credit check. I called today requesting if I could get a credit card and I was informed my score is low. Now the same thing happened a month ago when I wanted a device with FNB and I was told the same thing. Then two weeks ago after laying a complaint, I was called by an agent and she performed something and I could qualify for a device which I just recently got (Thank you very much). As far as i know my salary bracket does allow me qualification for a credit card AND I have no listings.which criteria am I not meeting? Can someone care to carefully explain?? PLEASE!
