Home insurance claim

I lodged a claim with standard bank insurance over a month and a half ago for a geyser leak that occurred. I had the problem fixed and claimed back for my expenses. It took over a month and my claim was not settled neither was I contacted or given any feedback by anyone. I called the call centre last week Friday the 7th June and was told that there was a huge backlog of claims but my payment has just been released and payment will reflect in my account after 2 working days. It is now 5 working days later and there is still no payment reflecting in my account and no feedback. This is so disappointing and would be expected from a short term insurer, but from one of the leading banks in the country it is just plain disgusting. Is this how we move forward in life?
