Hi so in December I took out insurance on my motorcycle with enbridge and had an accident a few days later which was a hit and run... got a accident report the same day and took it to my local like shop to get a quote on the repairs... In January when the assessor came to take a look at the bike he said the the newly acquired damage is old damage, yet my bike was in superb condition when I bought it except for a dent on the exhaust pipe, a scratch on the swingarm and cratches to the right side mirror and barend, thus being said the bike was not originally inspected when the insurance was taken out... After many e-mails back and-forth they are refusing to pay out for some of the damages then send me a new policy with a new policy number and incorrect details, I'm pretty sure that is illegal, but it seems they are trying to do their utmost to avoid paying out for what they rightfully should pay for according to the South African Insurance laws
