The abovementioned refers.
I was informed that I had a credit balance on one of my accounts after which I've telephonically requested for the money to be paid back to me.
Long story short it has been 3 weeks of which I had to phone the relevant department of Standard Bank only to be transferred from one person/department to another.
I do not know if the persons I spoke to did not make the necessary notes on the system but it is a waste of my time and money to keep on phoning only to explain the query again.
Yesterday I once again phoned to follow up only to be transferred, AGAIN, from one person/ department to another. Luckily I spoke to a lady whom informed me that I need to sent a request in written to the department in order for the matter to be resolved.
Why did/ could the first person I spoke too not inform me of same? Why did I have to waste my time and money? And the best of all is that the matter is still not resolved.
The abovementioned actions are one of the reasons why I closed almost all of my accounts with Standard Bank.
