Went through to the sandridge branch to open a cheque account, all was good until I went through to collect my card. I then asked the guy to change the account of which my debit order goes off on and he said ok that is no problem he did his thing and said everything is fine.next thing i asked please change all details so my old account is closed and all debit orders go off my new acc. on the 31st of may an amount was taken off my account so i called to findd out and the consultant advised that it was for my credit card which was cool. now on saturday i contact the call centre only to be told i owe on my credit card. i was told ruth andrews will contact me and to date i have heard nothing. i have had endless problems with standard bank and the midrand will be able to confirm i once had to force my way into the branch when a staff party was taking place and was told sorry we are closed you can come back on monday. i really cant say how angry i am with standard bank.
