After 17 years with auto and general they rejected my claim. My son got his drivers license August 2012 we phone them to say he was going to drive one of the vehicles. When they phoned me back to say they have loaded him on out insurance but that he would have excise of R4200.00 due him under the age of 25 .I still ask if all ok can he drive the car yes was the answer. On the 18 April 2013 my son was involved in a accident and they said the car had to be written off. But they would not pay out the claim due to the facted the he was not the regular driver. My wifre is the regular driver because she goes to work with the cat 2days in a week and drives 374km
My son uses the car as needed and drives to a friends house 3 days a week 48km. This in my mind makes my wife the regular driver she does the must km spends more time behind the wheel. But no not for auto and general they say my son is the regular driver. They are fast to take your money but boy when they nee to pay forget it...
