Was involved in an accident where a car hit me from behind&I went in2 the car infront of me. My dad is the regular driver on the car&I happened to drop him off that morning. An assessor came 2my house and asked my neighbours who the regular driver is-this was embarrassing&unacceptable. She even called the guy who I bumped in2 (he works in the same building as me)-asked him if I travel to work with the car every day &how we access the parking, again this was embarrassing as this guy does not know me! I am paying 4 a service, not for A&G 2be snooping around in my business! Yes, my dad is the regular driver but what if a "panelbeater"came to fetch the car&was in an accident? Would he have to pay the excess? They now want me to pay over R3000 excess 4 an accident that was caused by the guy who hit me. The guy who was infront of me is sorted with his car but I (the innocent party) have to wait. The guy who hit me should be responsible for this but I am getting no grace from A&G, healex is also a client of A&G.Apparently I would be refunded but this could take months. It's almost 2weeks and Ive been battling2get this sorted.i'll definitely take this further and once resolved i will cancel my policy!
