On the Friday 07-06-2013 I went to ABSA Bank at Claremont branch to receive a money transfer through Western Union money transfer, something I have done move then 3 or 4 times at the same branch.
I had to wait for such a lengthy process of passport scrutiny, in which I feel its prejudice based as in March 2013 I received cash at the same branch with the same passport and the same visa as I am on a temporary residency visa as I have been living in the country for 14 years.
I lodged a complaint on this site and to the branch manager that responded with indifference. And the customer service of ABSA responded on this site that will investigate the matter, in which they never did as they never even contacted me.
I am simply doing my part my notifying the company of my concerns, I will not stop using the Claremont branch as I stay few blocks from my place and will not tolerate unconstitutional behaviour from employees of a company in the name of 'rules' . This country has laws that everyone have to other to, corporate or individuals no one is above the law.
