On the weekend of the 01/06/2013 when we had the terrible storm, the contractor came out to look at the damage and confirmed that the roof was well maintained. The assessor came out also to look at the damage, in turn standard bank says because there was leaves on the roof they are declinig the claim. My question would be that if there is a storm how do you remove the leaves if you have gail force winds. This proves that standard bank insurance looks for any reason not to pay, yet you pay for insurance in the event of natural disasters.
