I have needed to contact ABSA lately regarding amonst other things a home owners insurance claim and internet banking support. On every occasion I have been left holding on for a VERY long time, having to listen to their ridiculous message about how important my call is to them. On one occasion I was just simply cut off after holding for about 8 minutes. Then once the call gets answered I am often required to dial another number to get through to the correct departement and so have to start the process all over again. On the 29th May I submitted an e-mail query to their techical support team and to date am still awaiting a reply, except for the one where they sincerely apologized for the delay in responding to my query. Come on ABSA, seriously!!? you are really going to need to outsource your call centres and support as clearly you are unable to manage it effectively. Your customers are frustrated and annoyed!!
